Not far from my house, there is an antique mall*. I had visited the mall a few times in the past, and it was the huge place comprised of three buildings full of all kinds of antiques. I had never realized that I was so excited about antiques until I visited to this mall. And of course with my Pinterest addiction, the antique mall was a great place to find items for new projects!

Recently, a friend and I were looking for a place to shoot some pictures. We weren’t sure where to go, so I suggested we go to the antique mall since it was nearby. We were nervous they wouldn’t let us take pictures in the store, but no one seemed to have a problem with it. So we started shooting photos throughout the mall. In the end we spent two hours taking pictures of all these old items, and it was such a fun time! (Check out some of the photos I took that day). Ever since then, my friend and I have returned a few time to take pictures when we are feeling like shooting some photos.

Yesterday was one of those days that we decided to go take some photos at the antique mall. As I was rummaging through all the stuff, I started noticing all the cool label and package design on the items. This starting making me thing about how much good graphic design inspiration I could find right there in the mall. So at that point, I switched gears. I began my hunt for good, inspirational design. After snapping pictures of some cool old product labels and such, I decide to share what I had found with anyone who may be interested. Below are some of the photos I collected from my antique store adventure. There will probably me more to come!

*Also, if you live the the St. Louis/St. Charles, MO area, and are interested in the antique mall, here is their website. Just don’t go blabbing that I was taking photos of all the items in their store 🙂
